Absolutely gorgeous Antique Thomas Serves Barvaria Gilded Hand-Painted Pink Roses Plate Signed Phillips measures 1" tall and features a diameter of 8" wide across. Originally manufactured and hand-painted in Germany for Thomas Serves sometime between 1900-ish to 1940, the plate features painted pink roses along with a gold rim and black designs around the border (Please see photos). The plate also features an artist signature and is signed Phillips in the top right corner of the plate. Overall, the piece is in gorgeous condition due to its age. It accompanies no chipping, cracking, or scratching but does include very minor paint wearing that is not noticeable. The gold and the black painting accompanying the border however, is completely intact and includes little, to no wear at all surprisingly.
