Offered is this charming collection of 9 pieces of a favorite porcelain china pattern by Bing and Grondahl called Seagull. The pattern depicts a white seagull in flight through a watery mist of pastel blue and white. The bird’s wings, beak, and feet are tipped in gold. Gold outlines the gently scalloped rim. The pieces feature a texture of fish scales around the rim and into the center. The following pieces are included: Dinner plate 9.5 inches in diameter (24 cm) 3 Salad plates 6.75 inches (17 cm). One salad plate lacks gold trim. Bread plate 6.25 inches (16 cm) 2 Saucers 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) 2 Cups 4 inches in diameter (10 cm), 1.75 inches high (7 cm). The cups will hold 8 ounces of coffee or hot tea. Total of 9 pieces. We understand this vintage pattern was produced in Denmark from 1962 to 1969. B&G stands for Bing and Grondahl, aka Royal Copenhagen. Fine Factory Second Condition. No chips or cracks. Few, if any, scratches due to service use.
