You are purchasing this lovely RARE SIGNED JANIS CHILDS KEY WEST HAND PAINTED WOOD TRAY - CHARGER - PLATE- SERVER- FRUIT BOWL IN VERY GOOD PREOWNED CONDITION. Signed Janis Childs Key West - well known artist of handpainting of clothing, wood and pottery found in galleries in Florida, Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, and Oregon. Date of production unknown. Hand painted 16" diameter wooden recessed charger, plate, tray, dish, server, and centerpiece. Colorful with marine blue center, darker green edging, lime pears and dark pink berries. Back is a solid marine blue. All done in a muted matte painted finish done in food safe paints and unique to her with her process of painting. Unique, beautiful and functional art. In very good preowned condition - minor wear around inner ring on front and a few dings on the backside and some scuffs from prior use. No chips or loss of paint on the front , no cracks and colors are bright and vibrant. Strong & sturdy. Lovely piece for entertaining or poolside. Thanks for looking!
