This listing is for ONE ironstone blue transferware dinner plate manufactured by Mason's in England in their Maritime Ships series. There are a total of FIVE plates available, but they are being sold individually. Please use the dropdown menu near the top of this listing to see individual photos and prices of each plate. They each measure 10 1/2" in diameter. Each plate has some information about the ship on the back. I have included that information below. The photos of the backs of these plates makes them look a bit ivory/yellowish, but that's only because they were taken without a flash. Rest assured the backs are the same crisp white as the fronts. No chips, cracks, or unusual wear on any of these plates EXCEPT for one of the "The White Bear" plates, which has a shallow glaze chip. See details below: The Royal Sovereign - Was called 'Grace Dieu' and re-named in 1509. Compliment - 260 Sailors, 46 Gunners and 400 Soldiers. Tiger - A galleass. Built in 1546. 200 tons. Compliment - 80 Sailors 12 Gunners and 8 Soldiers. The Golden Lion - Rebuilt in 1582. 550 tons. Compliment - 150 Sailors, 24 Gunners and 76 Soldiers. The White Bear - A ship of 1564. 915 tons. Compliment - 300 Sailors, 40 Gunners and 150 Soldiers. The White Bear (CHIP) - Same info as immediately above. This piece has been discounted because there is a tiny flake off of the glaze on the rim, which is very hard to see but I tried to photograph it - see close up photo.
