Description

This is an IMMACULATE Large FORMAT 11x14 photograph of Bruce McCandless of STS-41B First Generation Photograph 'This paper manufactured by kodak' watermark on reverse which was used from 1972-1993 on colour images. Iconic mission where Bruce McCandless became the first astronaut to use the Manned Manouvering Unit (MMU) in 1984 showcasing the very first untethered spacewalk. Unlike the standard 10x8 sized photos made available to the public, Large Format photos 11x14 were reserved for dignitaries, scientists or presentations, making this very rare. Photograph in excellent condition. (Note - the smaller standard 10x8 photo is used as a comparison only and it not included in the sale)
