Description

An outstanding porcelain figurine of a longhaired Dachshund dog produced by Rosenthal (Germany). This is model 62 by Moldenhauer, one of Rosenthal's renowned artists. The gorgeous detail and decoration of this figurine speaks to the quality of work produced by Rosentha.l The Rosenthal hallmark, inside a cartouche, is under the base, along with the impressed model number and artist's name. It m easures 2 3/4" tall by 3 1/2" long. This figurine is from my personal dog collection and has been kept behind glass in a display cabinet since I purchased it in 1993.
