Vintage Martin Freyer for Rosenthal bisque porcelain plissee vase, made in Selb, Germany in the 1970s. Designed by German artist Hans Martin Freyer for Rosenthal. Rosenthal marking on base. Delicate, small form with matte white surface, pleated ('plissee') ribbed relief texture, also known as the 'onion' series. The base and interior have a glossy glazed finish. Beautiful Op Art collector's item!
