Rosenthal Selb-Plossberg White Porcelain Walking Foal Horse Figurine 679 Germany Willi Munch-Khe, name of the original artist, is lightly embossed along the top edge of the base, but it is very difficult to see under the glaze. Solid white, porcelain figurine. Base measures about 4-5/8" x 1-3/4" Measures about 6" tall, and overall length is about 6" There is a number "7" embossed above the mark, and "679" embossed below the mark Mark says, Rosenthal Selb-Plossberg Germany Based on the Rosenthal mark, this figurine was probably produced sometime between 1953 and 1956. There are earlier examples of this same figurine, with the same embossing, made in the 1930's
