Description

Set of 8 Thomas Hand Painted Signed Sherratts Pink Purple Floral & Gold Plates Set of 8 German porcelain plates. Decorated with hand painted pink and purple flowers over a blue, purple, and yellow background. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom Thomas Bavaria in green. This mark was used between 1908 and 1939, after Rosenthal had purchased a share in the company. Some of the plates also have Germany in red. Signed Sherratts on the bottom in gold. These have some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Each plate measures approximately 6 7/8 inches wide. These are antiques may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces. IX
