Thomas Germany "Sevres" Style Polychrome Porcelain “Tatler” Portrait Cabinet Plate of a Seaman 9¾” dia, c. late 19 th century. Round smooth edge shape. Gilt banded red rim framing center polychrome portrait of a seaman smoking a clay pipe. Under-glaze blue-green white ware maker shield mark “Thomas”. Over-glaze gilt “Tatler”.
