Offered is this lovely service for FOUR of fine porcelain china made in Bavaria by Thomas. We believe this china dates to the 1920s and ‘30s. The set includes four 5-piece place settings plus a round platter, two bowls and a gravy boat. This pattern features a border design of pink roses and blue ribbons. Bowls of fruit appear periodically around the rim. The smooth white blank has a wide border of pale ivory yellow. Gold trim decorates the rims, base and handles. Each place setting is comprised of: Dinner plate 9.75 inches Broad plate 6.25 inches Fruit bowl 5 inches Saucer 5.75 inches Footed Cup 4 inches in diameter, 2.25 inches high The serving pieces: Round chop plate 12.75 inches Round serving bowl 10 inches Oval serving bowl 11.5 inches Gravy boat or sauce bowl 7 inches Very good condition for its years. No chips or cracks. Gold trim shows some wear, most notably on the thin gold band that encircles the verge. See last photo.
